– interesting how almost every story started with “just nnn miles from New York City” as if the center of the universe is Midtown Manhattan. If you had asked me, I would have said “oh, it’s about 15 miles from Derby (where I lived for 14 years) or from the better known New Haven or Bridgeport or very close to Danbury
– the media had close to every fact wrong in the rush to get something on the air
The facts as of now are this is the younger brother (age 20). He had tried to legally buy a gun and was turned down. The day before, he had met with 4 school officials, three of whom were killed, including the principal. A logical inference is he wasn’t able to buy the gun because of an objection from the school.
He was described as a very bright boy who had been home schooled – yet he wasn’t in college and no mention of his status. There is a vague implication that the Autism Diagnosis Industry succeeded in diagnosing him as having a disease – because he is young, male, smart and bored by female teachers trying to explore his feelings and explore diversity rather than teaching him calculus and European history
It’s not the first time that I’ve pointed out the powder keg of millions of young men – locked out of college by universities deliberately excluding males, unemployed, confused, no female attachment or family responsibilities – sitting at home playing first person shooter games nonstop, learning situational awareness and target prioritization.
He shot his mother in the face. Another logical inference is she was involved in the decision to deny him the right to own a gun. Autism spectrum disorder is not a mental illness that strips a man’s right to own a gun. It’s just a short step from there to say that obesity should disqualify a person from owning a gun.

Boy, Fred. This one hits close to home. I have a hs junior with hfa. His diagnosis at 20 months got us early help with his behavior etc. I am also greatful for things like aderall, which made immediate impact on his ability to focus, learn and overcome his perseverations.
I guess I just hope that this guys condition doesn’t become the ffocus.
I have 2 perfectly normal kids. There is a big differencebetween those two and my other kid.
My heart bleeds for those little kids and their parents.
I am no liberal, but aren’t we all just ready to get real with these assault rifles and the like?
I amnot sure my kid will ever need one.
I JUST want my kids to go toschool and not have to worry about being gunned down.
What are WE going to do?
There is no guidebook on this stuff. You get help and do your best for the kid. They can call it whatever they want, I don’t care. Just glad there is help for kids like mine.
That said, my gut hurts for those poor kids and their parents.
And I am sick about the shooter. His actio
His actions have no excuse.
This is how the intergenerational war will start.
Violence is responded to with more government demands to “control” the angry youth which will result in more violence. This is the logical followon to the Occupy movement where these kids are convinced that someone stole their future. It’s not some random spontaneous movement and he won’t be an isolated incident.
Mine is not excusing his actions – it’s warning you of what forces intent on destroying this country have set in motion. See: George Soros
Damn, why does this always come down to gun control!!!
What really sets me off about it is that no one takes the time to understand. Look it up. Remember it.
An assault gun/rifle is fully automatic and have been illegal in the United States since 1930. Penalty? Life in prison.
This nut case had 2 handguns and a semi-automatic rifle.
Where do we go from here? If we believe in God (I do) then we must believe in Evil.
Lost my job and went back to school. The damn kids in College all take Ritalin (methylphenidate) yup, another ‘meth’. They save them up for days of tests. They tell me it calms them and their focus increases on it. Talk about an advantage. Us that did not have the damn pills had to study.
My Dad saw to it that I was ‘focused’ in school and life. So much easier to have someone tell us it isn’t our fault as parents and he just needs this pill. My Dad was twice the man I am. He said what he meant and meant what he said. Dad would have taken the time to understand guns.
No time to understand what a gun is and how it works = no time to be real parents. Sorry, but that is the bitter pill so many have to take.
Yes if we ban assault weapons life will become safe.
Dave
There was a case maybe a week ago of someone killing a teacher using a crossbow. The choice of weapon is not the problem.
I guess we were bad parents when my sons hands flapped back and forth non stop. I guess we were bad when he was non verbal and need to be taught sign language when he was 3 to tell us what he needed. I guess when he hyperfocused on objects and his eyes would flutter and he couldn’t, control it we were bad parents. With massive intervention and adderral in kindergarten thru 3 rd grade we broke him of a lot of impediments. He now learns very well but it has been a long road and will not end for him.
Unless you live with one of these kids, you will never understand.
Thou dost protest too much.
One would think with your experience you would recognize that the expansion of autism “spectrum disorder” to include typical male behaviors dilutes the significance of people with a real problem. The probability is 1 in 1 that we will never agree on this.

His father was no longer living in the house. She was living in a house that I’m going to guess costs at least $500,000 – with no obvious source of income. Dad is the guy who works at GE Capital figuring out how GE can pay no taxes. He lives 40 miles away in Stamford, the city where GE is located.
Feel free to connect the dots – you know Alex Jones is.
I was off by a million dollars, but that could be old real estate values

Mom was getting $365,000 a year from Daddy, which buys a lot of attention at the casinos.
I thought about predicting this… One of the other of the 6 women he killed was the school psychologist, consistent with my theory.
One thing that doesn’t line up though – he was 20 years old and this was an elementary school. Why were the targets of his rage there and not at the high school he recently attended?
One important aspect of American law is we don’t arrest or punish people because we fear they might break the law in the future.

More reading of the willingness of some to connect autism spectrum = mental illness = sociopathic killer (caused by sin and the devil)
I am on-board with the idea of an intergenerational war, but it might even be bigger than that, and sooner rather than later.
Sadly, life would not become safe in America if the government gets serious about weapon confiscation. With 100 to 200 million guns, I don’t really know, there would be many that go underground. Many are already in the hands of gangs and other criminals, good luck with that. Australia did a confiscation of guns years ago and yet they are still available on the black-market and gun crimes still occur.
And consider the weapon of choice in Rwanda, the machete. “Beginning on April 6, 1994, Hutus began slaughtering the Tutsis in the African country of Rwanda. As the brutal killings continued, the world stood idly by and just watched the slaughter. Lasting 100 days, the Rwanda genocide left approximately 800,000 Tutsis and Hutu sympathizers dead.”
The legalized Drug Cartels and their psychiatric drug peddlers extract billions of dollars from prescriptions of SSRI antidepressants like Prozac, Paxil, and Zoloft into play. The drugs have been well studied and the results are either softened or suppressed by the Cartel. The drugs do push some people over the edge. From what I read it can scramble their brains, and result in patients committing suicides and/or murder/suicide. Going off these drugs cold-turkey can result in a nightmarish rage.
There are no doubts about the SSRI drugs prescribed for Erric Harris and some heavy speculation of another event that set him and Dylan Klebold into motion in Colombine.
They 1st came to the attention of the Sheriff’s office on August 7, 1997. They were both arrested on January 30, 1998, released from Jefferson County’s Juvenile Diversion Program on February 3, 1999 and the killing started on April 20, 1999.
The speculation over the so-called Russian Woodpecker experiments in global mind control are also in play. See PhilipCoppens dot com / woodpecker.html
With regard to lack of empathy being the most dysfunctional aspect of Asperger Syndrome. Guess what DARPA is developing?
“The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has a $2 billion yearly budget for research into creating a super solider as well as developing a synthetic police force. Working with the human genome, DARPA hopes to manipulate certain gene expressions. In experimentation, DARPA and the military industrial pharmaceutical complex are using natural abilities that are enhanced through genetic engineering.
“By eliminating empathy, the Department of Defense (DoD) hopes to “enhance” a soldier’s ability to “kill without care or remorse, shows no fear, can fight battle after battle without fatigue and generally behave more like a machine than a man.’”

You don’t have to go that far – it is well documented that the military has been funding 3d tactical simulation software to break down the moral barriers in your brain to not kill other humans.
For a long time, I played an online game called Runescape – nominally a game where you do quests and grow food and mine resources and kill dragons and evil monsters. One part of the game is called “PKing” – player killing. You cross the line from killing zombies and wolves to killing the avatar controlled by a real person – and take their stuff if they die.
Children as young as 8 (almost all boys) play this game – the longest term players are now in college and spent their entire youth at a computer killing other players to take their stuff. The game has a market where players can buy and sell things similar to a stock market – that was the part I found interesting. It’s probably worth a mention that the game was written in England – probably half the players are from the US , 40% in the UK and Australia – and the rest from the other countries in Europe.
If you’re up for it, go to YouTube and search on something like PKing runescape and listen to the voices of the person making the video [more]…
Here you go… If you can listen to this example and not be concerned, you aren’t paying attention
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3FevnawhBg&feature
Oh, yeah. We are paying attention. Thanks.
Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems to me that this maniac fits the almost exact same profile as the other recent school and Mall shootings. Young, male, video player, movie goer, shy, intelligent but with some very obvious mental defect that really should have been treated. A millionaire-like his mother could easily afford treatment!
I honestly believe it has something to do with the desensitizing that has to happpen when these monsters sit for hours and shoot make believe people on a computer screen or go to almost every damn movie that has multiple shooting deaths. All in 3D now!
Perhaps a sick mind can’t differentiate between what is real and what is play.
My heart aches for the little ones. But confiscating firearms from law abiding background checked adults is NOT going to make anyone safer. It will, I believe, make us all less safe and more endangered.
And the Politicians make me sick. The usual idiots were on the tube lamenting the 2nd amendment even before the funerals! Shameless!
One of the earlier games of this type was a game called Doom. I admit to getting sucked into it. You went from room to room blowing up monsters and advancing deeper into the fortress. I had to stop playing it – I found that after playing it a while, I would be perspiring profusely and having other health effects. I found it very unhealthy physically and mentally – but also could see how it taps right into the male mind. No matter how we want to deny it, territoriality and competition for females is how human life works. War is never going away – the battlefield may change, but the essence of competition for resources and reproduction is what drives everything else.
Not often enough do many of us express our gratitude to you for keeping this website/blog up and running but the vast majority of us really do appreciate your input, effort and time.
Thanks for letting us share our thoughts and ideas with each other.
John Batchelor (Princeton graduate) tonight went so far to suggest that people who appear in government databases because they asked for help doing their income taxes might indicate they are mentally incapable of handling the decision to own a gun.
Now there is a progressive idea!
Wow, Art! Now, that’s scary! I didn’t, yet, hear Batchelor tonight. I download later and listen while I sleep.
I, too, thank you for running this blog. I don’t comment often but always read…
