Once again, politicians head in the wrong direction because they feel a need to “do something”
They’re trying to ban the wrong thing – they need to ban snow skiing. Do you realize what the annual health care costs and lost productivity are to employers from this irresponsible personal behavior?
If we can ban skiing, then people won’t need to buy ski masks, and wearing a ski mask can be probable cause to stop and frisk people walking down the street. I’ve checked three times, and I see nothing in the Constitution that says we have a right to ski.
I can hear you mumbling “But there are no Ski Slopes in Washington DC!”. Seriously, do you not care about children?

I figure you are pointing out the absurdity if wearing a ski mask could become probable cause to stop and frisk people walking down the street.
The socialist country of France enacted a “burka ban”, which came into force in April 2011. It is meant to prevent anyone covering up their faces in public. The ban has lead to all sorts of problems for police who try to enforce the law as well as the courts. This type of behavior by the French, or any other “State” is part of the Template, or Plan by the Elites to impose restrictions on the freedom people, and just as importantly keep people divided.
Wearing a ski-mask can barely be compared to a Muslim woman’s choice to wear a burka or niqab, they are not in the same league. A ban on wearing ski-masks in public would be one more small step to take away our freedoms. The Police State creeps closer and closer. If people do not stop this crap, the tipping point will be reached, and when it does the avalanche will be horrendous.
The story mentions that it is already a crime in DC – it’s use as an addon offense – something like “wearing a head covering used to conceal identity during the commission of a crime”
As an ‘add-on’ offense it makes a lot more sense.
