Here come the technocrats

Those of you who listen to Glenn Beck know exactly what I’m saying without having to use the F word.

The Detroit Bankruptcy judge decided he needs help (there is no position in the US Government more powerful than a bankruptcy judge). He has appointed a Federal Mediator to sit down with the creditors owed $18 billion by Detroit’s 700,000 residents. Here are the matching orders

“All proceedings, discussions, negotiation, and writings incident to mediation shall be privileged and confidential, and shall not be disclosed, filed or placed in evidence. – If a settlement is reached, the agreement shall be reduced to writing.”

Let the sunshine begin!

Gerald Rosen is actually the bankruptcy judge’s boss – he’s the chief judge of the Detroit District – he’s a solid Republican with inpeccable credentials – he is not a Princeton / Harvard clone – he went to Kalamazoo College – he got his law degree at night from George Washington University while working for Republican Senator Robert Griffin, the Republican minority whip in the US Senate in the 1970s

So why isn’t he on the US Supreme Court instead of Clarence Thomas?

Keep them deaf dumb and blind and they will be happy and never realize they have been F’ed by negotiators with better cronyism connections.
