I found this on a radio station web site in Kentucky
Things to know:
– the woman is the just elected Miss Kentucky
– the man is the Republican Minority floor leader in the House – among his duties, he serves on the Committe on Committees
– she was his intern
– Wikipedia says she is 22 years old
In God We Trust – okey dokey.
Art, you’ve got it backwards. In them you should trust because in god they trust. The messages isn’t getting through to to for some reason. Maybe they need to reverse your electrodes. lol
Her bio mentions her deep faith.
I know nothing about her and it is possible. I just think the world has had enough of the “Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition” mentality. Consider that when the Lord is buying ammunition for both sides it is heaven for the weapons industry…. and the common people are focused on the external game rather than the internal looting and corruption that is not important compared to the potential evil do-ers overseas.
So where is his hand?
Maybe its a bad picture or maybe I’m getting old, but she looks more like she’s 40 and has had bad plastic surgery – that’s the most beautiful young woman in Kentucky?
Or maybe it says something about beauty pageants in 2013…
Or maybe the radio station was punked 🙂
Here is the uncropped original photo

The lighting is bad. It looks like the people were lit with florescent lights from the ceiling rather than a flash from the camera. The result is shadows on the faces that would not be there with a normal photograph.
Zooming it up close, I see the main issue is they over compressed the image or maybe it was a really old or cheap camera. The splotchiness is the small color palette. I copied the image locally to the web server and converted it to png, which may make it worse.
I’m with you CC that the shadows on the faces would not be there with a normal photograph, and that reminds me of an old, old Seinfeld episode: Jerry was dating an attractive women who appeared great in certain ‘lighting’ and like a witch in ‘bad’ lighting. Anyways, it was funny at the time.
I agree with CC, ‘the lighting’.
Maybe his hand is at the small of her back, and not inside her jacket ? Hmmmmm
Yeah, these type photos are always a little squirrelly. You never know, maybe he is altruistic and was just mentor. One can hope.
I was at the West Virginia state fair last week, there were many Miss, Kentucky’s and Miss Tennessee’s, some Miss Virginia’s and certainly some Miss West Virginia’s.
I think they all want you to look, or the wouldn’t wear things to ‘enhance’ and make you take that second glance. Things sure have changed.
Pretty wild !

Vanity, everything is vanity!!! I remember doing a google search for the “ugliest women” and guess what? Up pops a photo of Hillary.
Do a search for “Hineygate Honeys” and see if that creeps you out.

I have deep faith that they are healthy, wholesome women.
I feel confident this woman never threw her bra at a man

The University of Ohio ended up buying the Holiday Inn to try to shut this down.
I don’t get the connection, but then I’m not too smart anyway.
I left out the dots I connected – I knew nothing about Hineygate before today. It’s an event sponsored by WTVN that occurs across the street from the stadium when Ohio State has home football games.
When she took over OSU in 2002, she made it her cause to try to shut down the “riots” – they were nothing of the kind – they were college students drinking beer and engaging in traditional heterosexual mating rituals. She was forced out after 5 years. She has this naive idea that universities are about learning and research, not the reality of getting drunk on the weekend and showing boobs to strangers.
The university has since tried to shut this down – getting the police to limit the beer drinking inside a fenced in area, and buying up the hotel whose parking lot was used to try to force the party away from the stadium
Wow. A state funded institution buying a private hotel because the state employee didn’t like what adults were doing there?
Not sure what you say makes 100% sense to me, Art. Most of the students would have places on campus… I would be that out of town alumni would be staying at the hotel. I get that “hineygate” parties is a pun on “tailgate” parties. They are in the parking lot of most college and NFL games and usually just fans getting drunk and having lunch before the game.
The party was held in the parking lot of the hotel and spilling out into the street – OSU bought the hotel on the basis of turning it into student housing, but if you read the news accounts from a few years ago, OSU was definitely trying to shut the thing down and the hotel and WTVN weren’t cooperating
Universities are curious places – having their own private police forces that regularly ignore sexual assaults that would create bad publicity for the school, etc… and have a tendency to just keep gobbling up the land all around them creating non-profit tax havens
“gobbling up the land all around them creating non-profit tax havens” … and their operating costs go up… but no worries, they get increasing subsidies from the state and their students get increasing loans from the government as well.
Cost control? that is too market oriented in a Marxist environment.
This one creeps me out, Nidster:
