USPS – We took the service out of Postal Service

I have a question / issue with my change of address. The official web page says I should call the 800 number (800) 275-8777

I’ve been on hold for 23 minutes now (Burning prime time cell phone minutes). If I go to the official USPS.gov web site to find my local post office to call them directly (which the voice response unit suggested at one point), the only phone # offered is the national 800 number that apparently nobody answers.

(the call was answered after 45 minutes – the human indicated that what the web site was telling me to do was wrong)

Congress needs to write the USPS another 25 billion dollar check. Maybe that would cut the wait time on calls by 5 minutes.

For 25 billion, maybe they can reuse that new code from healthcare.gov that tells you they are busy and collects your email address to email one time only to tell you when you can try again.

well, hate that postal service is acting bad for you Art. But I tell you, we have a new sweet little mail carrier here and I swear she could be Kasey Musgraves twin sister ! I find myself staring at her. But then she talks. She isn’t Kasey.
I wish they wouldn’t talk. LOL
