Improved Stations by State

http://streamingradioguide.com/radio-station-list-by-state.php

This overlaps with another different page, and may eventually get merged into it, but one or two people might find it interesting or useful.

The changes were motivated by me finding a list of affiliates from China Radio International (topical at the moment for a couple reasons). They listed cities and frequences, but not call signs – making it tedious to try to figure out what station they are talking about.

There was also a problem that it was close to impossible to get TV stations to appear, since TV stations do not have a “programming format”.

So now you can apply frequency ranges to AM and FM stations, and Channel ranges for Digital TV (and I dropped references to analog TV). Format is ignored for TV stations and none of them stream (or if they do, I don’t care)

The filters are pretty open ended and eventually need to be restricted, but for now you play with it. See all the AM stations in the country that operate on 1110 KHz, or all the TV stations on channel 37.

Enjoy!

If you’re using an iPad or iPhone, the list only shows stations defined in the ooTunes app, which includes no FM translators. “Windows PC” really means All, so lie to it 😉

A few things are currently broken like it sets 540 for the upper AM range even though you didn’t choose it. I’ll work on it some more soon.
