Mr Hunicke is only 36 years old. Elvis died over 37 years ago at age 42.

Who will be more famous in another 37 years?

The walk/run for Peace. Isn’t that quaint. I think world peace is a good goal. I think a world where Elvis plays the trombone is a good goal. I enjoyed Las Vegas where I met Elvis on pretty near each street corner.

The run has nothing to do with “World Peace”

“Since the event moved to McApine Creek Greenway in 2008 it has raised more than $50,000 for Safe Alliance in its efforts on behalf of local domestic violence victims.”

      • CC1s121LrBGT says:

Domestic violence is a serious issue. A very high percentage of victims of violence are from people that live together.

Much less of it is husband beats wife than you might have expected, even before that Jay-Z elevator video a couple weeks ago.

Many wives initiate the violence, especially among elderly couples.

The world would be a better place if everyone learned to control their anger and walk away to continue the conversation later when everyone is cool.

Betcha a dime to a dollar the guy can’t sing. He just dresses as Elvis and plays an instrument that does not allow him to sing at the same time he plays it.

Off Topic: Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich had to send out a memo to his deputies telling them that sex on duty will not be tolerated, especially not with any blondes who may have been pulled over for speeding.
