Whether Qadaffi is killed or leaves the country is becoming fairly unimportant. This bomb was obviously directed at Europeans, not the “Free Libya” leaders. Those horrible prisons in Benghazi were built by the Italians, not by Libya.
Quadaffi had a military of around 10,000 people (maybe) in a country of maybe 6 million. The reason the “freedom fighters” are making no progress is they lack popular support outside of London and Paris. The smart people are keeping their heads down and not taking sides and/or going on extended vacations outside of the country.
Should the “Free Libya” forces ever gain international recognition, the next predictable step is the factions in East Libya will start killing each other.
