Robert F Kennedy Jr opens Nasdaq market

NASDAQ story

You might ask – why would NASDAQ turn the symbolic keys over to a political hack who hates big business and is not listed on NASDAQ and has no plans to start a for profit company? It’s not because he has a radio show heard on 10 stations.

One word explains it – “waterkeeper”

Control access to fresh water and you will rule the world.

Interesting. The old axiom about the apple never falling far from the tree – I watch and listen to RFK Jr. and I wonder where the brilliant mind and sharp intellect went.

      Recreational pharmaceuticals?

It’s totally consistent with my “Three Generation Rule”

I’m not so sure. I recently saw the video of RFK addressing the democratic convention in 1964 and I wasn’t shocked at how unimpressed I was. The legend is not build on fact. The words were something Obama would have said.

I didn’t want to come right out and say that – but I share your opinion of RFK. The fact that he was murdered by an Arab doesn’t make him any smarter or a better person. The idea that the President of the United States would appoint his brother as the Attorney General is absolutely preposterous. Eric Holder is bad enough.

I had a lot of difficulty with the 1960s – I also thought the Beatles were a talentless bunch of hype singing unimpressive songs to mobs of screaming teenage girls paid to be there. There are places where saying that would be enough to get you thrown in jail.

RFK not JFK. Sorry about that, Chief. I don’t know a lot about RFK and what I do know (very little) is from a Bill O’Reilly book. The Kennedy family, like most families, has its ineptitudes but JFK was good enough to surround himself with people who made him look good and sound intelligent. RFK as Attorney General was nepotism run amok and that both were assassinated is a thing for the ages.

And we won’t even mention his Grandfather’s bootlegging business or his recently deceased Uncle Ted and his “excesses” Ahem.
“Camelot” was a complete fabrication. As was most of Teddy’s speeches.. Those that could be understood.
JFK was NOT qualified to be President and may well have stolen the election from the Ill. returns.. We have another such novice in office now! It is NOT a job for rookies. People could die and many did.
And finally, I have yet to see a NY Times piece that credits any intellect whatsoever for a Conservative, yet claims Hillary and every other Progressive are brilliant.

With all due respect, please watch, listen and comprehend the State of the Union address JFK gave just days after his inauguration. His STOTU speech was contemporary with my life experience, but especially compare it with what is being addressed today.

Sure, I could provide you with the youtube link, but first go to the JFK library: “In his speech the President discusses his plans to strengthen the economy through tax reform and the need for Congress to respond to certain national matters, including health care, education, civil liberties, and resource management. He also addresses how the Sino-Soviet split, the ascendancy of developing nations, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will help curtail the spread of communism.”

One of the theories of the motivation was that he ordered that the US Treasury start printing money using a blue Treasury logo backed by silver. I held one of these in my hands so I know it was real and not just a Rense fantasy.

Wow! Now you’re post about the silver certificates has jogged my memory of the time in 1974 or ’75 when I had possession of one of those $100 silver certificate. I knew it would be a collectors item worth more than its face value, and maybe a lot more. Drats, hard times came upon me and I had to sell it for $100, as it was a fairly common issue, not one of the JFK issue.

To get back to my post above, JFK’s 1963 SOTU speech was so conservative that it would make most Republicans today appear to be radical leftist.
