“Financial Advisors” on Radio

With only a handful of exceptions (Bob Brinker, Dave Ramsey, Bruce Williams) who were smart enough to never offer specific investment advice, the world of Radio financial advice hosts can mostly be put into two groups – those who are in jail, and those who will be eventually.

Most sources just say several Creole language stations without mentioning specifics. South Florida has lots of problems with unlicensed “pirate” radio stations, which could explain the lack of specifics

If you’re as cynical as I am about Wall Street, I recommend listening to Phil’s Gang and Watchdog on Wall Street. Interestingly, this investigation and arrest was done by the state of Florida – not the SEC

    I heard a really seedy advertisement today on Rush’s show – some guy claiming you could make $1000 a day with only putting up $100 at risk. Go to Vegas and put $100 on the number 13 in Roulette.

    Another national advertiser making the rounds is selling vending machines. Everything old is new again
