Web site reimaging

Don’t expect to see “Babe of the day”, flash animations or Google Ads, but I’m going through trying to incorporate CSS a bit more and creating a more consistent look and feel, including a “Login” link on every page.

The “Submit a show rating” page still had the old FindAnISP menu navigation for helping you choose your dialup internet provider 🙂 The login and register pages are also long overdue for a facelift – they came from the defunct FindAnISP.com I used to run

One question that has been nagging at me about the rating page is the huge reduction in people submitting ratings – this isn’t a plea for people to do it, or a complaint – just an observation. There was always a certain level of grumbling about my rule that I wasn’t going to count “all 10” or “all 1” ratings in the averages, although I usually published them unless they had content that would get me sued.

My sense is that since the election of Barack Obama, people are scared to say anything in a public place that can be tracked back to them. Another possibility is people just have given up caring. Any other ideas?

Information about Quality Ratings is also being removed, as I no longer evaluate that, other than dinging stations that run prestream video ads (which is almost everyone)
