This is another radio show you probably never heard, but did significantly better in syndication. While they did promote selling food supplements, it isn’t your standard infomercial – as the show was done live and had real callers.
Jan McBarron, M.D. Is the doctor, and “Duke” is her husband and operator of the Peachtree natural food store. The doctor decided to become a doctor after first being a nurse – which probably explains her advocacy for patients, and rejection of big Pharma and how it has corrupted the practice of medicine.
The show has actually been gone for several months – now that I’ve chopped down most of the forest, I can see the neglected parts of the forest and clear out the dead brush to see what new life is sprouting underneath.
