Peru turns Red

While the “Right Wing Media” are all aTwitter with the Anthony Weiner jokes, an election happened in Peru this weekend, and Peru elected a Communist as President – joining Columbia El Salvador in the Hugo Chavez column.

    I think you mean joining Venezuela? Columbia is pro-USA and trying to get a favored trading status with us. But that Ding-dong in the white house is against it cause “red” is his favorite color.
    Bolivia will probably be next.

      Oops, I was thinking of El Salvador in Central America. It’s been in the news lately over Spain wanting to hold war crimes trials. Columbia has been in the news as well, but for different reasons.

      Of course, the fallacy in your question is the assumption that “Pro-US” means anti-marxist 🙂

    Don’t forget Brazil, which is now run by the Marxist guerilla Dilma Rousseff.

    Brazil has benefited greatly from the giant sucking sound of US multinationals seeking hefty profits and tax havens. Caterpillar, for instance, has huge operations there.
