The 12 enemies of the Internet

The Broadcasting Board of Governors has a plan to upgrade its infrastructure.

The operator of Voice of America, Radio Free Europe/Liberty (Part of Europe is not free?) is looking at the future of radio being on the Internet and social media, and phasing out or sharing facilities with other global broadcasters (BBC? CRI? Radio Moscow?)

A couple pages of the report lists the 12 countries that most aggressively block VOA on the Internet

Vietnam

    I would never have guessed that these countries would be on this list! Sure…

      Saudi Arabia is the most curious, but not a surprise. I didn’t pay attention to the date in the report – it was probably pre Arab Spring. I note Libya was not on the list.
