The Twitter generation kills New Republic magazine

New Republic magazine is the magazine speaking for the so-called Progressive movement for 100 years.

Two years ago, one of the co-founders of Facebook “saved” the magazine and started laying the foundation to transform New Republic from a boring long form printed magazine to an online digital ad seller based in New York.

Pretty much the entire staff just resigned en masse

    That’s a bit of a problem if they still have any paid print subscriptions. You can’t sell people a product then not ship it. My parents were in the business of selling magazine subscriptions, primarily for Look Magazine.
