Unless you’re a volunteer, creating an account doesn’t have a lot of purpose. It’s main use is to save favorite stations and programs and ignoring the same. It isn’t exactly anything anyone else would care about and want to hijack.
Since the account is verified using email, that means the email address is permanent, what you call yourself can be changed (as long as the name isn’t already in use)
I made it very simple for me to update an email address, but it isn’t done by you using the account page.
If you still have access to the old email account and would like to update the email address to a newer / better address, do the following:
Send an email from the OLD email account to streamingradioguide@gmail.com
Tell me the username and your new email address. Don’t tell me any passwords.
If you no longer have access to the old account, send the email from the new account and also tell me your old email address and username. Since I’m less sure that you are you, just give me a few hints like what shows or stations you listened to.
