Important 2016 Presidential Election announcement

Regarding the 2016 Presidential election, the Center for Resposible Internet Disclosures announced today that Art Stone is not a candidate for the 2016 Presidential election. Millions of similar announcements are expected in the next few weeks.

Note that Romney didn’t actually say he isn’t interested in being President, just that he’ll let “other leaders of the party have a chance”.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of the President bing selected by Congress. That would end this billion dollar slush fund that is turning TV and radio into media whores – and return the focus (and money) to the 435 local elections where people still might have a little influence. It would also get rid of gridlock. While that might be pretty dangerous, people might pay more attention. More car accidents happen on straight roads than dangerous roads where people pay attention.

Hannity would actually have to talk about public policy rather than the horse race.
