You probably know somebody who gets a divorce and then can’t stop themselves from wanting to go back and having sex with their “ex”.
People on the Howie Carr mailing list already know this, but Howie is taking his football back to WRKO and Entercom next Monday.
As a Howie fan, I’m really surprised that he is coming back to WRKO, but even more surprised that RKO would take him back after years of Howie trashing the station.
But, as reported in the Boston Herald this morning, RKO has figured out that they are now a “non-entity” without him. Let’s hope it’s very profitable for Howie…otherwise it makes no sense for either.
Dr K, the guy who was leasing the station ended his show on March 2nd

I hope Howie’s advertisers didn’t prepay for ads
The good news is WMEX are the perfect call letters for the next programming format.
Just got an email from Howie confirming that his stream from WRKO will start today at 3:00. It will be interesting to see what he has to say about his return.
I doubt “the truth” is likely, but you never know
