Wix.com offers an easy to use do it yourself web hosting service that lately has been promoted heavily on streaming radio (or maybe I’m being targeted)
If you are testing a web site and get back only a blank page and notice it is hosted at wix.com, go get a cup of coffee and come back.
The underlying technology of their web page is very complex using JavaScript and JSON – the purpose appears to be to make it impossible to make a copy of the site using their free templates, then copy it to another web hosting service. The price is it may take 20 seconds for a page to appear with no indication the browser is building the page behind the scenes.
