The slowest part of using the Station Editor is when it tries to find the streaming link, which requires looking at every possible link of a page and asking “might this be a possible stream”?
Now the editor first checks to see if it finds the existing stream anywhere on the page. If it finds the link, the presumption is it is still valid.

If for some reason, you suspect the link is wrong, or it doesn’t work, you have the option to do a “Rescan” and see all the possibilities
There were 4 different streams for 4 different stations, but from the name it is pretty clear we had the correct one already.
