Many “full service” radio stations and small town newspapers love easy news. Calling / visiting the police station, publishing who was arrested, car accidents, property transfers, restaurant inspection reports. It is not uncommon for the newspaper to own the radio station.

That’s just it. The “protestor” sections of Baltimore have seen their home values more or less cut in half as a result of burning down the Asian owned and corporate owned business while standing guard over only the black owned businesses. Not blaming those that did stand guard, you can only guard one place at a time. Those home prices will never recover in our lifetime and the people that live there are now trapped.
The “Rodney King” are of LA has not seen its real estate prices recover after a generation. The Watts section of LA has not after half a century passed from the riots there.
