KABC-AM is located in a really seedy neighborhood. The property value is related to being right at a stop on the light rail line – perfect for shopping or high density condo developments.
So what are these guys up to?
It appears that much of the former parking lot is being rented out for some purpose.

Such as they are. While there is some common history between KABC-AM and KABC-TV, the TV station was never here. KLOS-FM is also there, but FM transmitters are very easy to move.
Most “local” radio hosts now do their shows from home rather than driving to the radio station.
