Outside the K&W cafeteria in Greensboro, NC. If people starting smoking again, wouldn’t the Overton window apply too?

Good golly, I’d have to ask Molly (Ross).
BTW- If Trump wins, I predict that George H. (also Ross) will be our next Supreme Court judge.
David Bowie is dead.
He passed away in New York City on Sunday the 10th, and whilst Joan Hamburg is on weekends, her show is on Saturdays rather than Sundays… so the question is, did Mr Bowie listen to Joan’s last show?
That might push me over the edge, too.
Technically, it was his last show (not hers) unless you’re telling me Joan has been put out to pasture. I think the definition of hell may be spending all of eternity with a radio playing Joan Hamburg that you can’t turn off. Do you think people in Heaven from the Hamptons have a special reserved section?
Kidding aside, Bowie released his last album last Friday, on his 69th birthday, two days before he died.
If you haven’t seen the video Lazarus from Friday, it is stunning. It is quite good, but stunning. It’s producer said he intended it to be his final gift to his fans and supposedly he suffered physically in making it.

Memo to baby boomers: your time is up.
The last train is leaving Clarksville station. Don’t miss it. Buying organic food at whole Foods can’t stop death.
That didn’t sound too dark, did it?
Just to tie together several “seamingly” unrelated threads: Alex Jones on his show Monday mentioned that Alex’s father, a dentist, was named David Jones and is approximately the same age as David Bowie. Alex also reminded listeners that “Bowie” was a stage name, and that David Bowie was born with the name David Jones.
Several years before Bowie’s first hit, a different David Jones had a hit with a song called “Last Train to Clarksville”. Clarksville referred to a military base in Tennessee that was the last time many military people were on American soil before being deployed to Vietman where many of them died.
Alex Jones went on to talk about Davey Jone’s locker as well.
I was not a huge fan of Bowie but he certainly did have talent and creativity and did a lot for rock shows. He invented many different characters and personas for his albums and tours, most with elaborate costumes.
I an only think of one time where he performed without all the garb and the character he played was himself. That was in 2001 when he opened the 2001 Concert for NYC sitting on the floor by himself walking distance from the twin towers that were also still lying on the ground. The symbolism and minimalism were a stroke of genius that many may not have seen. Enjoy:

I will readily admit I know nothing about David Bowie.
So following the dots, I think you just told me Alex Jones is the love child of David Bowie and a female space alien.
LOL! I think David Bowie was creative and artistic. Some of his music is outstanding and I will have it in my library forever. Someone told me that David Bowie was a big time smoker. Does this mean Alex Jones is/was a smoker as well?
Female space alien – are we sure space aliens have gender? 🙂
Does God have a penis?
