Barring something unexpected like Hillary withdrawing or Bloomberg running, it looks like 2016 will be Hillary vs
Trump
Cruz
Rubio
Kasich
Jeb Bush Or
Carson
So November 2016, with those choices, in which situation do you vote for Hillary? Staying home is an option.
For me, two on that list are a “Vote for Hillary”, two are leaning toward Hillary and two probably “stay home”. Of course, a lot can change in nine months.
Slap me in an Iron Maiden – I will never vote for Hillary. I will vote to make sure that Hillary never sets foot in the white house (vote boldly and vote often).
Jeb sucks.
Rubio is the establishment second choice – sell you out in a New York second.
Carson is my man for Obamacare.
Kasich – John I love you but get your butt back to Ohio and continue saving the State.
Cruz will do everything he says – Dems be afraid – very afraid.
For the Donald, I will ride the roller coaster holding on for dear life.
Donald will make your roller coaster run on time.
And sell you a barf bag after you get off the train.
Briand75 pretty much summed up my thoughts. ABC’s…anyone but Clinton!
While Trump scares me sometimes, I would still vote for him over Hillary, but I’ve been consistently a Cruz fan.
Still not sure Hillary will be the eventual Democratic candidate.
While I understand the feelings, the reality is the white Conservative demographics are shrinking. Picking a candidate who is hardcore like Cruz risks pushing people away who aren’t Christians and don’t want a shooting war with Russia.
On my interactions with people, the anti Democratic inertia seems to increasingly be race based hatred of Barack Obama, which he is overtly stoking. Hillary would be smart to limit her public appearances with Obama.
I think there is some of that race based opposition to Obama, yet he was the Affirmative Action President – many people, not just blacks but especially blacks, voted for him specifically because he was half black.
I don’t see that Affirmative Action magic working for Hillary. She laughs when Gloria Steinem and Madeline Albright explicitly say that people should vote for her because she has a vagina. I think that causes her to lose not only the young women voters that wish to be considered on merit, but also the male voters outside the elite that have lost a rung on the ladder they are trying to climb to reach the middle and upper class.
My guess is if the Democrats push out Sanders or otherwise he decides he can’t do it, I suspect the people following him will just become bitter and not show up. I can’t imagine them voting for Bloomberg or Cruz.
The most important thing the next President is likely to do (other than start WW3) is the Supreme Court. These 5-4 decisions are troubling as it indicates the judges are voting based on desired outcomes, not the law. That might get them to vote for Hillary, even if they hold their noses while they do it.
Apparently that former governor of Virginia hasn’t dropped out yet. He probably plays the lottery, too
Not no more
The bigger question is why was he in?
Yeah Jim dropped out. (sad face)
I was so waiting for the March 1 “super Tuesday” but alas he soared to close to the sun. Oh well. I just wish these dam clintons would just go away ! Then Webb Hubbell’s daughter Chelsie is waiting just off stage, grrrrrrrr ,
parrott
If not Cruz, then who? I don’t think Cruz would push away non-Christians, and I don’t think he wants a shooting war with Russia. Cruz does know the Constitution, however, and I think he’s the most conservative of the bunch. I liked Bobby G and Ran Paul, but they’re out now. I still like Ben Carson, and I’d vote for him in a second. For me, it’s not about winning, it’s about being true to the Constitution and having integrity. If Republicans compromise just to win, then A) What exactly are you winning? and B) You won’t win anyway.
You get Queen Hillary.
At least Cruz is not in the group wanting to impose a “no fly” zone on Syria. Imagine if Russia announced it was supporting a Cuban no fly zone over South Florida
But using economic sanctions as a weapon of war frequently escalates into a fighting war – see: December 7, 1941

One Republican candidate wanted to give Putin the silent treatment but she dropped out of the race.

When he speaks to non believers, he is for separation of church and state. Rand, Marco and Donald may be onto something about his lack of honesty.
Trump trussed Ted with truth, justice and the American Way. lol
Jeb Bush just quit. ??????
Donald Trump, the other half of operation chaos had a great day. He won every single county in South Carlina except Richland, which is where Columbia is. Rubio won the “establishment” vote in the State Capitol.
