So, there is a 2 1/2 hour rain delay at Comerica Stadium in Detroit. It’s the 6th inning and the Tigers are losing 15-0 to the San Francisco Giants. The game should have been over by 10 PM.
It’s Saturday night, and you’re running the station for WBCK-AM in Battle Creek. It’s approaching midnight, and the station engineer says he gets the transmitter at midnight to work on it.
Well, the answer is obvious! Record a newscast announcing that the Tigers lost the game Saturday night (without mentioning a score), turn off the transmitter and go home 🙂 What’s the chance anyone would notice or care?
I don’t know why the station was even streaming the game 🙂
