Trump’s path to victory

Yesterday was the Washington State primary, which Trump won with 76.8% of the vote. What puzzles me are the 3.8% who voted for Ben Carson. My guess is it is 7th day Adventists who believe the pyramids in Egypt were built by Joseph to store grain…

The only Republican primaries left are June 7th – California, New Jersey, Montana, New Mexico and South Dakota – a total of 303 delegates remaining. Trump should arrive in Cleveland with around 1,450 delegates, much more than the 1,237 he needed.

The governor of New Mexico, a Republican woman with a Hispanic surname refused to appear with Trump at a campaign event (at which a long haired maggot infested dope smoking hippy burned a trump t-shirt in protest to give the NY times an anti Trump headline).

The ball is in the RNC court. Trump has won. If they take the ball and go home, that’s it for the Republican Party. If Trump gets the nomination and people in the party continue to fight him, the party is over. If the Party falls in line behind Trump and he is actually working for Hillary, the party is over. Pass the hemlock. Beware the ides of July in the city by the lake.

Hey – I need a place to store some grain. Any ideas where to look?

    >The governor of New Mexico, a Republican woman with a Hispanic surname refused to appear with Trump at a campaign even

She was in the NeverTrump camp yet the media “experts” had her on Trump’s short list of VP candidates – they are all identity politics, racists that picked her because of her race rather any other reason.

Bloomberg reports that Paul Ryan and Trump are going to chat by phone tonight. Ryan absolutely has to chew out Trump for badmouthing the governor of New Mexico. Equally as obviously, Trump has to tell Ryan he has a cranial rectal inversion.

This is the moment of the Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton duel. Ryan thinks he is the only one holding a pistol.

I have my issues with Trump but he is an order of magnitude smarter than most politicians and two orders of magnitude smarter than most journalists that cover him.

My draw dropped last summer when a young journalist called him stupid. I actually looked her up on Wikipedia and she was about 30 with a journalist degree from a state college and no experience outside of the television media. I should ad that she was very pretty.

I had seen every episode of every Apprentice series going back to 2004. I watched because I learned something from Trump almost every show and I am no dummy. Trump has an MBA from one of the best business schools in the world and not only has billions of dollars, but he earned it. It was hard to take the journalist or her MSNBC colleagues seriously after that.

I look back at when I used to watch MSNBC and cringe. I used to do Scarborough and Mika and even that makes me ill these days. Congrats to CC – a hard hitting experience to learn that MSNBC is pretty much gone pure pro-Obama/Clinton propaganda.

I cringed when the MSNBC news hosts would engage in conversations with an imaginary Microsoft robot.

That’s not what I remember. I think the first day they talked with a robot and the idea died the first day. The voice of dev null might be familiar

Looking over the history of MSNBC, I didn’t know that Laura Ingraham and John Gibson had shows. They were overshadowed by Michael Savage getting fired….

In their early days, they had a good show on technology hosted by a young Soledad O’Brian. Microsoft was a half owner and used the channel to grow the market for tech products. I think the show lasted only a year or two before she was promoted to non-technical news.

MSNBC’s death warrant was really the financial crisis – their parent was really bankrupt and needed a series of taxpayer bailouts. They had to persuade Washington that they should get a bank bailout even though they were not a bank. GE also turned its focus to getting taxpayer checks as Elon Musk does. In that scenario, the payback was becoming a mouthpiece for the corrupt status quo.

Since them, Comcast bought NBC and Comcast’s CEO Brian L Roberts is a huge Obama supporter and donor. He needs the status quo to approve his intended mergers and acquisitions so he can expand the geographic areas where he has a legislated monopoly on cable service.
