Let’s call Moody’s bluff

Here is my proposal. Republicans should offer to raise the debt ceiling to $1,000 trillion (one quadrillion) and see if the Democrats will be panicked and start having reasons why that is a bad idea – and see what Moody’s thinks of that for our credit worthiness.

Of course, this will be tied with my promise to create $250 trillion in deficit reduction over the next 100 years.
