      It would be a cruel exercise, but as I look at each person, I would like to speculate on each person – the guy with the vacant stare, the people who are gay because they think it is the “in” thing, the young woman in stockings wearing the pokeballs in her hair, the guy standing way back in the corner, etc

    To add some context, since it might not be obvious, this radio station is run by the school district. Merced Island has a median household income above $150,000 . The population is 1.3% black.

  3. Aside from the Beatles, Motown was the most popular music in my almost all-white parochial high school in suburban New Jersey (880 kids, 2 of them black).
