While playing Pokémon for the first time in a few weeks, I was helping the shopping center next door run off the Pokémon cluttering up their parking lot, and like a star in the East, a Pokestop magically appeared where none existed before.
Consulting with the oracle of all knowledge, today Niantic rolled out its partnership with Starbucks, the purveyors of the much sought after tonic from exotic lands. 6,400 Pokestops and gyms have appeared from the emptiness of nothingness. It is truly a miracle.
Capitalism WILL find a way :).
I totally admit I don’t understand Starbucks. I got dragged there maybe half a dozen times. I think I have been to the one across the street twice in three years.
The Starbucks next to bi-lo in Pineville has a drive through for all your fast coffee needs. Around 9:00 on Saturday, there were 10 cars in the line (+/- 1)… that had to have meant a 20 minute wait to get a coffee and pastry. I wonder if people know their peppermint mocha has the calories of three 12 oz pepsis, even before the extras added on
There are 14 cars patronizing Starbucks on Christmas Morning (10:45 AM)
Heathens!
It’s only fair to buy something since I am filling a parking spot, and I’m hungry.
“Hi, I would like the holiday turkey and stuffing panini!”
Um, we don’t have that any more!
[I’m looking right at the sandwich on the menu board]
Ok, I’m going to come inside. I can’t hear very well.
[walks 20 steps]
“OK, I think I heard you say you didn’t have the turkey and dressing panini?”
Did you order it ahead of time? We don’t have any”
“Um no. Do you any other sandwiches?”
How about a turkey panini with basil and sun dried tomatoes?
“Perfect! And I’ll have the orange cream fizzy soda!”
We haven’t had that in a couple years!
“OK, do you have any sodas?”
No, our fizzy soda machine is broken, sorry.
“OK, I’ll have a small hot chocolate”
That we have!
Yeah I didn’t get a any gift cigar packs for Christmas. we did give my brother in-law a star____ gift card. He likes those mocha Javaie` they make.
Speaking of ’14 cars’ I did get a really nice Atlas GP-38 , HO scale in C&O railway ‘Blue enchantment’ paint.
It had been in a collection, but was sold on that ‘e-pay-alot’. My nieces and brother got it for me. New-in-box. I bet it is every bit of 12 years old and never run. It is super quiet running.
they were really thoughtful and I was super surprised. I am very thankful.
It looks good in front of pulpwood flats.
