Long time readers know that I am caught in the Obamacare net and have a personal interest in the how repeal and replace plays out
Some of it can be done with a pen and a phone. Some is more complicated.
For the short term, it matched my predictions. The 2017 contracts are alreasy in place, so insurance and subsidies remain in place for this year. Everything else is in play.
The penaltax was repealed by executive order. I doubt a lot of people will withdraw because of that. People like me want the insurance and not because the government is scaring us.
What happens to Medicaid and Medicaid expansion is less clear. Perhaps we have an expert in the house! I’m a little preoccupied at the moment filling my basement full of sugar.
