Jimmy Breslin has died

Well known New York columnist Jimmy Breslin has died

NY Daily News

I remember Breslin appearing on Larry King’s syndicated radio show a very long time ago. Breslin and King shared similar politics and experiences of their life growing up in New York City. This is a long time before Larry King moved to his current job working for RT (Russia Today)

Even if you didn’t agree with Breslin, you knew he really believed what he wrote about and his love of people was genuine.

Best of Breslin

Unrelated, singer Chuck Berry has died. In the end, all we have is time and each other. Treasure what you have while you have it, and don’t be distracted by the small stuff.

Okay time for a secret of the universe alert! Fred – “all we have is each other. Treasure what you have while you have it…” Amen. The secret of success in life and relationships is companionship. Try it yourself – define and redefine companionship and evaluate the effect on people’s lives. I think you will end up seeing the genius of Fred’s statement.

Definitely do not be distracted by the small stuff.

Chuck Berry had died the other day as well.
