France is now way over the line

A few days ago, Libya lost control of its border checkpoint with Tunisia. There are three checkpoints – one in the Mediterranean, one inland maybe 50 100 miles and one where Tunisia, Algeria and Libya all meet.

Libya sent a convoy of 30 vehicles to retake the border crossing from the rebels (not the folks from Benghazi). There is no city there – this is a border crossing in the middle of the desert.

French planes bombed the convoy. There are few legitamite functions of a nation more important than protecting its borders.

There are also some news reports suggesting that there is deep division in the Kremlin about how to react to events in Libya.

As I said in another thread: Russia may be our last hope to intervene. We the People appear impotent to stop the rogue regime in the White House, Pentagon, and NATO.

The news just reported that Libya is now back in control of their border checkpoint.

About half an hour ago, I read that Britain is considering sending troops to the Tunisian border to help protect fleeing Berger refugees from the Libyan military.
