FBI: Bill Clinton accepted bribes from Russia for Uranium

The Hill reports

Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.

They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.

This comes just as it was disclosed that former FBI director Comey wrote his decision not to indict Hillary several months before the investigation was completed

Good God. You would swear we lived in the old Soviet Union the way the Clintons, Obamas and operatives carry on. Land of the free and home of the brave – I still hold that as an ideal although it wavers when you see things like this.

The underlying deal was for approval of a Russian company buying a company named Uranium one, that had acquired the mining rights to 20% of the United States’ known uranium deposits – specifically the Willow Creek uranium mine in Wyoming. The company has operations in the former Soviet republic of Kazakhstan and Tunisia. The company has no mining operations in Canada, which would support the thesis that Uranium One is a Russian front operation to bypass export restrictions and undermine US sanctions and/or exploit NAFTA tax benefits

The US government has an approval process for signing off on deals that might compromise national security, and the State Department has a say in the prroval process. The official position of the State Department is that Hillary Clinton played no role in the decision and that the $140 in contribution to the Clinton Foundation was totally unrelated, despite tge fact that Bill Clinton sent an email inquiry asking Hillary’s staff if they thought the State Department might object.

Keep in mind that this was prior to Russia’s actions in Ukraine and Syria, so we were less concerned about Russia. Also, this is the kind of deal the State Department would generally support. Opposition might more likely come from the US military and CIA. More to come on the process for that approval

We all forget how many people died at the hands of Hillary. While no direct evidence seems to exist to tie her to the murders, it is noteworthy that anyone who could have surfaced such evidence has met an untimely demise.

Corruption is out of control in politics.
