Progressives for Excise Taxes on Animals.
Beef Jerky Outlet is apparently a franchise. This one is located in the Arboretum Shopping Center next to the Five Guys where we had lunch.
Looks be a highly rated franchise… reviewers seem to like the Honey BBQ Beef. It’s nice that they provide samples, which I would want to try before buying… quality beef jerky is good, but I detest ‘liquid smoke’ used by many producers. Besides beef, bison would be among my other choices, along with salmon. I checked their locations, nearest outlet is in Las Vegas (none in Arizona yet).
In a dystopic future, a PETA sticker will signify compliance with their ‘meat tax’.
What about a new tax so the nation can save for the coming event of the sun running out of energy and burning out? (After the global warming taxes, of course.)
Well, we could tax solar panels by the square foot in order to protect the legacy electricity grid
The “should be used within 3 days after opening” is a clue
“Smoke Flavor Added” is another tip-off. Did you try it?
Not yet. Countess tried the samples. Maybe she is around somewhere…
The PETA sign is a “one off”. It reads: People Eating Tasty Animals.
🙂
I’m fairly sure that was the point.
If it’s not the people, then its the chupacabras per Linda Moulton Howe. ; )
Yes I think it was. I have heard of this PETA many times. I chuckle a bit as the other “PETA” wants a world of vegetarians and/or vegans.
I am a member of a very small minority group (conservative vegetarians). I go to Gatlinburg, Tennessee each year at Thanksgiving and I keep forgetting to go to the jerky outlet to check out their watermelon jerky, which I saw advertised on one of those tourism infomercial cable channels in the Smokies.
Wow. That is a small minority, TheJerseyDevil. The only smaller minority that I can think of might be vegetarian hunters who who celebrate Radio Day in the Pine Barrens. 😉
Glenn Beck’s producer Stu is a conservative vegetarian. Related, it is widely known at this point that Th Blaze is going to change hands soon.
I’ve heard that about The Blaze. Any predictions. iHeart and Cumulus don’t have any money. Fox has a lot after the sale of their movie business to Disney and has not much going on in radio. Same with Sinclair Broadcast that is expanding in television. Newsmax and One America News also might be interested in radio.
Ben Shapiro is the name people are floating. He was part of the Ted Cruz movement, which is why Beck trusts him. Here are his backers
