Nigerian government nationalizes banks

Nigeria’s government is going to sell $4.5 billion in bonds so it can take over three failed banks – the largest of which has a loan portfolio of $10 billion in bad loans.

Nigeria is a large exporter of oil to the United States.   I think the global bankers just essentially took over the country and its oil.

Wow! I received an email from the Nigerian Secretary of Finance, asking me to hold $4.5 billion for him in my bank account. And here I thought it might be a little off odor. I’m rich!
