Fred's personal situation

If I haven't mentioned it before, the countess and I were divorced at the end of 2019. She returned to New Jersey where she was comfortable.

That's about the time I moved to Greensboro North Carolina and bought a condominium. It has three bedrooms about 1400 square feet, an attached garage and no steps. It was built in 2006 about 20 years newer than the place I was living in Charlotte.

In March 2025, I finally got around to having total hip replacement on my right side. It was severely arthritic as a result of a car accident in 1986. The people in the emergency room said if you live long enough you're going to get arthritis. I did, and I did.

There were no complications, and I no longer have to deal with the pain or lack of movement of my leg. Having said that, because that's not my only problem, I am resigned to remaining in my electric wheelchair. The physical therapy people from bayada were not comfortable with me trying to walk unless somebody else was here. I donated my 2001 Oldsmobile intrigue to the radio station at Wake Forest University.

My helper Margaret had to let me go because of her own health problems. I texted her a couple times just to see if I'd get a response and there's nothing. The last I knew she was taking ozympic which was helping her with her heart problems.
