What is working

To give an idea of how big a project this was, essentially the old server was running on 15-year-old software. I had to upgrade ubuntu, apache, mysql and php to near-current versions. Php and mysql tightened up a lot of things for security reasons, so a lot of the work was changing the codes so it won't throw errors.

The thing that I'm happiest about is the polls are working. As long as you have a login to the directory you should be able to do the things that you used to be able to do. One thing I discovered is there were a lot more people adding amusing answers to the polls than I realized. I thought about 90% of it was parrott 😄

The functionality of what's on now is working, constrained by the fact that a lot of the data still needs to be updated. Salem Media in particular has been hard hit – Charlie Kirk was murdered, Michael Medved has left, Dennis Prager had a disastrous fall in his bathroom – he has done a few podcasts but he's not ever going to come back is a regular 3-hour day show. Hugh Hewitt has moved for mornings to afternoons.

The download from the FCC is mostly working, however they have done something that limits my server's ability to grab the entire license list. However, it works okay using my tablet, so my workaround is I download the data to my tablet and then I upload it to the server. There are still about 400 significant license changes that I still have to research.

I'll keep adding to this post as I have more information.
