LA Sheriff Dept Captain suspended

The female captain was suspended after her voice was heard on extensive conversations recorded by Federal investigators where she was discussing drugs with members of the Crips street gang.

The LA Times was unable to locate a photo of this senior member of the LA County Sheriff’s office – and we all know what that means.

Probably completely unrelated, there is a story about the LA Sheriff being on the receiving end of a discrimination lawsuit.

I remember when “discriminating” had good connotations. Actually, as a person of discriminating tastes, I still think it does, even as political correctness still makes me vomit.

The ABC video report shows Captain Bernice Abram’s picture and also discloses that her niece, Deputy Chantell White, who worked in the Lennox slammer, also was relieved pending the same investigation. The picture was not surprising, one way or the other.
