CFR on Libya: Don’t worry about that election thingy – it’s not like this was about Democracy

Here is the globalist “analysis” from the Council on Foreign Relations – which was probably written a year ago:

“Elections held too soon after a civil war often end in violence, write Dawn Brancati and Jack L. Snyder in Foreign Affairs. The UN and the NTC should defer their plans until the rebel factions have disarmed and Libya has developed a civil society and modern political institutions.

The U.S. campaign was a success, but a provisional and limited one. Qaddafi is gone, but his ouster will not become a model for future interventions, writes Michael O’Hanlon in Foreign Affairs.

What?   I thought this was a NATO Campaign, not a U.S. Campaign…  Are you telling me that AFRICON ran the operation?  I’m shocked, I tell you!

And who exactly are the “rebel factions” the NTC needs to disarm?   Sounds like the CFR figures elections will happen in about 20 years, maybe.

  1. Piquerist says:

AFRICORN, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACORN.
