Change in approach on “testing”

The new idea is that things will never expire.   Once added, an item will stay in the directory and not be changed until someone fixes it if it changes.   While there have been some mistakes and misunderstandings, in general the “Let anyone change anything” has generally been working.

Also, items that haven’t been tested in a while will now show a link that says “needs test” rather than creating a test on the fly without warning or explanation.     People will have the choice to not test the item, but then they can’t use it either.

Could someone else please check KBYR AM out of Anchorage, AK? It looks like they are starting a new Radio Streaming site. When I tried to check the station I got a VIP link.

The stations in Alaska and Hawaii are always erratic. Very hard to make a living and a culture different than the lower 48.

If you ever visit a Live365 site and it tells you that you must join the VIP club to listen, that’s usually wrong. The station has dropped Live365 and they throw up that highly inappropriate message trying to separate you from your money.
