The Aging of Public Radio

Several times, I’ve cataloged how Conservative Talk has skewed its hosts so far to the older generation and leaving the young behind.    While listening to Garrison Keilor, perhaps it is time to see how Public Radio is doing.

There are three main suppliers of non-local programming to public radio – National Public Radio (NPR), American Public Media (APM – basically the Minnesota Public Broadcasting system) and Public Radio Interntional (PRI – mostly BBC shows)

So few people come here to find Public Radio shows that the statistics probably aren’t nearly as reliable, but here goes:
