Geraldo heads toward National Radio Syndication

One of the little details from the Cumulus financial results announcement was that Lew Dickey does have plans to broaden the syndication of Geraldo – the former weekday Fox TV host is currently heard on WABC in New York and KABC in Los Angeles as two different local shows.   Since he had no prior experience that I know of doing radio, it was smart to get him some experience with radio before imposing him on a national audience.   With Levin at 6-9 PM (ET) and Huckabee starting at Noon-3PM, that leaves two obvious possibilities – 9AM-Noon against Beck and Ingraham or 3-6 PM against Hannity.   The morning slot seems more likely of the two.
