Glenn Beck’s empire is having a reorganization.
Part of the change is that the brand GBTV is going away and the video service will be rebranded as TheBlaze.
The combined brand will be run by the woman who used to be CEO of Huffington Post

I was just at Amazon.com looking at his book, Cowards. I’m sure it has decent production values but am I to suppose believe that there something different in the book than the 3 hours of radio, or 1 hour of television or the myriad of previous books? I’m kind of curious just how much a Beck-Head would have spent for all of the Beck Inc. products from his first book to the event in Dallas called, ‘Cashin’ in on Love’, or something like that.
That HuffPo CEO will have to take marketing and hype lessons from Beck to keep the repetitive dynamo churning. Maybe to Glenn the melding of two divisions of Mercury Radio Arts is a ‘stop the presses’ moment. To the world at large, not so much.
Glenn just set out his goal for TheBlaze.
TheBlaze will evolve into a 24/7 operation and its goal is to put NBC out of business.
It’s probably not a concidence that Glenn just signed this new contract with Clear Channel’s Premiere, which includes selling the advertising for GBTV and TheBlaze
But I’m sure getting Glenn Beck’s initials out of the TV network’s name was his idea. How many people still remember that the MS of MSNBC was Microsoft?
How many people still remember that the MS of MSNBC was Microsoft?..
I recently have thought it meant,
MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS NATIONAL BROADCASTING NETWORK
from the disabled broadcasting corporation..
How could the blaze (Michael Phelps) NOT beat a quadriplegic
9MSNBC) at the Olympics in swimming?
For the first few days (weeks?) the Bill Gates concept of news was that anchors were interacting with a computer generated character who was adding entertainment value. If you remember Clippy the paper clip or the Bob user interface, it’s the same idea.
Screaming at clippy NEVER helped
nor does screaming at Siri!
I am lucky
they can’t scream back or brick themselves yet!!
