Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp voted today to split off its newspaper business from the News Corp TV empire (aka Fox)
This is most likely to try to put legal distance between the “phone hacking scandal” in England and their US and Australian assets, possibly selling the newspapers or spinning them off into a totally separate company.
The story describes the profits of the various divisions but neglected to break out the immense profits of Fox Radio.
