Are people really this naive?
There are “petitions” to secede posted on the White House web site and nobody can figure out who is “behind them”?
The White House, duh.
The White House says if 25,000 people sign them, they’ll take it very seriously and someone from the White House will give you a response, even though you think you are anonymously signing it.
This is called self-identification. Don’t be shocked when your name is added to the TSA list for extra screening and guys show up to take your guns away.
If you think the “right to petition the government” means anything, in 1984 the Supreme Court cleared that up:
“Nothing in the First Amendment or in this Court’s case law interpreting it suggests that the rights to speak, associate, and petition require government policymakers to listen or respond to communications of members of the public on public issues.”
More of concern is why the Washington Times is herding people onto the trains to relocate them for their own safety.
I agree Art.
Man, that TSA bunch will bust down your front door, ransack your house, put you in handcuffs, shoot your dog, drag your wife out into the front yard in her sleep-ware, if she has any, and put your kids in the cop car and send them to child protective services. Why put a target on your house. Covert is the word.
They are just asking for trouble. That is ate up with the dum-asses!
I never go to white-house.gov. White-House.com had interns of the week in the late nineties, that was good.
