Now that Laura Ingraham dropped her bombshell of leaving TRN, she has an immediate loose end to deal with, the same one Savage had – some number of people have prepaid subscriptions to the Laura 365 service.
Who owns it and will refunds be offered? Savage’s service was owned by TRN and they gave refunds to subscribers – part of the arbitration award was savage owns his archives, not TRN.
At least as of this evening, it looks like the shopping cart is still taking orders.
Laura is a lawyer and likely was well aware of the issues / my guess is she owned her program from the start and Laura 365 is her service.
Where will Laura go? Salem? I mean Mike Gallagher is a nice guy and everything and I felt bad for him when his wife passed away because of cancer, but Laura could probably help salem.
Maybe Mike could Team up with Bill Bennett, he is part time anyhow.

D’oh – the answer was right in front of me.
Newsmax Radio
Salem would probably be the best fit. Gallagher’s audience has slowly been drifting down and is approaching zero. One rumor is that Politico is involved with the iHeartRadio concept. Tom Taylor says she wants to keep the same hours, which means if she heads to Clear Channel, she would wind up competing against Glenn Beck more directly. I’m not aware of any plans for Beck to leave Clear Channel.
There aren’t a lot of options left – cumulus has Geraldo on at that time – he has about as much traction as Fred Thompson or Doug Urbanksi did.
A lot probably also depends in what happens with Dial Global when its creditors (probably) take control of the company on December 15th. Dennis Miller has the most to gain if Laura is off the air for a while and he keeps his job.
I remember Dennis Miller said he was going to hang up the mic and start roaming the world if Romney lost. So, is he going to do it? I have not been listening to him lately but if he does walk away there goes a segment of the listening audience that doen’t tune into Rush.
In three weeks, he may have the decision made for him.
The couple times I’ve heard him post election, he sounds depressed and pretty disgusted with the country. As a show biz guy who “woke up” on 9/11, his neck is stretched way out.
For those who saw the poll, the Soup of the Day is a feature of his show. I have no idea what the purpose or meaning is – it may be nothing more than he eats soup during the show.
Soup of the Day is typically some topic that interests Dennis and he wrings some wry humor out of it, or at least makes an attempt at humor.
He does talk about pro football a lot during the season and otherwise has a wide range of guests. Regardless of his political stance he still enjoys a loyal following and his stand-up comedy routine is in front of a full house.
I listened today and suspect he may use the soon demise of Dial Global as a gracious way to get out of the daily grind.
