Savage telegraphed it a couple weeks ago – Savage is coming to two major markets on December 3rd. Both stations currently carry John Batchelor from 9 PM to 1 AM (eastern) followed by the Redeye Trucking guys.
Per a promo on WABC, Savage will be on from 9-11 followed by Batchelor from 11-1AM (doing the first two hours on the network but not on the “flagship”.
It probably won’t be long before Savage’s third hour is mostly recorded.
Savage has the best work ethic in radio – just ask him.
It’s weird – I’ve heard short things – word for word, but in the middle of a live hour. It’s like maybe they are feeding bits during commercial breaks – similar to the Blaze stream.
Yet another idea that Glenn Beck stole from Savage!
