Different people will likely see different things in this YouTube
I think the point is showing how much music has changed in two generations (and how men and women interact). It isn’t clear if they long for the good old days or it’s a proud statement of today’s generation.
The most striking thing to me is this all a single take – no cut shots, no edits – including the festivities at the end.
Your question if you choose to answer it in the age of Beyonce, do you think this was dubbed? Is that actually her singing? The piano and drums appear to be real musicians playing what I’m hearing.
This looks real and not dubbed and appears to be very well rehearsed. Yeah, clearly touched on several genres over a period of time. Good display of talent too.
Why is she wearing glasses?
She is wearing glasses because she is H-O-T!
I thought that was why she wasn’t wearing sleeves. 😉
Does wearing glasses make her look less slutty?
I thought she was my librarian. 🙂
Am I the only man with a Librarian fantasy? 🙂
What nidster said.
I’m totally at a loss for words :

They say music is the universal language.
It also gives me hope that there are still musicians that aren’t lip syncing and can play an actual musical instrument, beyond using a MIDI interface and a computer program.
I had never heard of this group until reading this article. I have since played almost everything they have on youtube and really respect their talents and diversity. I like the one you posted and my kidding reply to it above, but my favorite is this one that I recommend to anyone with a sense of humor and an enjoyment of music:

Doing something with that many moving parts in a single interrupted take runs contrary to everything TV and Hollywood has become. Taking 30 shots of the same 7 second scene and editing them takes no talent. This took careful planning, rehearsals, and people who can work together.
Maybe 10 years ago, someone in Russia set out to make a movie set in a castle involving thousands of people – the entire movie was to be shot using one camera and one take. No “stop camera” if an extra forgot to take off their wristwatch.
I had no interest in the subject matter but almost went to see it purely for the audacity of trying to pull that off. It became plausible because of straight to digital – they could drag the storage system around on a sled and not have to stop to change film.

Sorry to change the topic…
I don’t know about Dylan, but who is JOHN BRENNAN???
Shocking New Claim: John Brennan Converted To Islam

This is blowing my mind!! What is going on??
Karl Rove and friends ignored the US Senate race. There is virtually no nominee or violation of the Constitution that would stop the freight train. Removal following Impeachment or rejecting appointments is entirely up to the Senate. He could appoint Charles Manson as Health Care Czar and there is nothing that could stop it. In theory, Republicans still control the purse, but with the Fed willing to put unlimited dollars into the US Treasury checking account, that’s now just a formality.
I still expect him to empty the prison system of people being held for drug crimes, especially those that are over represented among the African not-anAmerican Communisty. It would only be reasonable in compensation to give them jobs working for that internal security force. Maybe Mr Dormer should be a Presidential advisor to that agency. He could pick out the color of the shirts, for instance.
Taking this in a different direction – in 2013, why would a woman want to woo a man?
Because there are so few of us left……
No no no! You two really don’t know? You have only these politically correct choices:
A.) “All the good ones are taken.”
B.) “All the good ones are taken or gay.”
C.) “He’s over 25 and not living with his mom.”
D.) “He’s not in prison, is not an addict, and has a real job”
