Colorado Prison head murdered in his front door

The “media” are trying desperately to tie his murder to some racist right wing hate group clinging to their guns and their Bibles.

That makes no sense. What would make sense is if he was personally involved in some decision about a prisoner.

Well, imagine this:

“While Clements generally kept a low profile, his killing comes a week after Clements denied a Saudi national prisoner’s request to be sent to his home country to serve out his sentence.

Homaidan al-Turki was convicted of sexually assaulting a housekeeper and keeping her as a virtual slave. Clements said state law requires sex offenders to undergo treatment while in prison and that al-Turki had declined to participate.

Al-Turki, a well-known member of Denver’s Muslim community, was convicted in state court in 2006 of unlawful sexual contact by use of force, theft and extortion and sentenced to 28 years to life in prison. A judge reduced the sentence to eight years to life.

Al-Turki insisted the case was politically motivated. He owned a company that some years ago sold CDs of sermons recorded by Anwar al-Awlaki, killed in a drone strike in Yemen in 2011.”

Eventually we may actually come to grips with the forces behind 9/11, but I don’t think we’re there yet.

You may have heard by now the police in Texas chased and probably killed a man believed to be connected to this case.

Mr Clements knew he was at risk. He lived in a rural area where you can’t see the house from the road – houses are on 2 acre lots. It was after dark.

He either knew the person knocking on his door or was at least expecting a visitor. His guard was down. If it had been a random home invasion, they probably wouldn’t have knocked at the front door. I would be surprised if they don’t own a dog.

The story mentions that he had listed an unusual and expensive bicycle for sale on Craigslist.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is spoon feeding the innuendo that since his skin is white he must be a white supremacist.

The real story is turning out to be his father is a close personal friend of the governor and when Mr Clements was being hired on Colorado, the case of the alleged shooter was a specific topic of conversation during the selection process

The ballistics of the gun matches.

NBC refers to the killer as an “ex-convict”.

No, he was an ex-prisoner. His convictions were not overturned.

The irony (or maybe not) is the head of prisons who was murdered was selected by the governor because he was a reformer who thought prisoners needed to be treated less harshly – and the man who killed him was exhibit number 1 of why keeping people in solitary confinement is wrong. His lawyer father convinced his friend the governor that his son was not a threat.

In the “more irony” department, the murder took 1 bullet. Limiting him to 10 would have made no difference.

On the subject of “White supremacist prison gangs”, do the Bloods and Crips accept white members? How does a white man in prison doing hard time survive and avoid being raped while the guards look away without the group protection of belonging to a gang?

Damn, that made a lot of sense.

I’ve always said that the #1 thing a person needs to be wary of when attending an educational institution is to be certain the teacher’s attempts to educate the common sense out of a person is not successful. Glad to see you kept your’s.
