I was at the Metra commuter rail station in Franklin Park Illinois when I spotted these two electric recharging stations – it’s a weekday, about 2 in the Afternoon
They’re not being used – I’m shocked, I tell you!

Why didn’t they put them downtown so that the coach coaches can plug in and turn off their carbon based fuel sources?
Government is all about misallocation of national resources. Remember the expensive bridge proposed for a virtually uninhabited island in Alaska a few years back? Why put it there rather than between NJ and NYC? The answer is the same as why these electrical sources are not downtown where the roach coaches are – they like to put things where no one will use them.
Turns out there are as many Shelbyvilles as there are Springfields…

Anyone have idea of the cost to re-charge?
Free! And more important, a place to park!

The second girl to the left with the red and white ruffled skirt is my mother. I was born 9 years later.
Are we allowed to move to Puerto Rico?
Absolutely…. but I think you’d lose the requirement to pay US income tax. 😉
Sure, and no ObamaCare either!
